My 2 year old had a spinal mri and they found “multiple small cysts” on both kidneys. We have his renal ultrasound today to see what’s going on. PKD runs heavy on my husband side of the family but he’s had genetic testing already and it never popped up. I’m a nervous momma.

That is the exact situation I had recently. Including supra spenatis and acromium spur. Surgical repaired, 8 weeks post op. I am 66 but I am fortunate to be a fitness buff. Rehabing has been slow and I am still weak. But determined . Nice explanation Thank you.

My ortho called me today w/the results of my MRI. This exact thing happened to me. I have a medial meniscus root tear and a stress fracture of the tibial plateau & bone edema & a popliteal cyst. I did have a acute injury. He is unsure about the meniscus root surgery, as of now. But he did order rest for 4-6 wks. I'm worried this may lead to a TKR which I don't want.

Glad I found this video & greatful I found the answer to fixing my injury. I've been having the same issues with my knee locking up after being in a tight bent knee position putting alot of pressure on the knee. I work in crawlspaces alot so that doesn't help but I took some tactics you guys said you use when it happens to you & bam it popped back in place & I'm walking again fine after using a walker the last few days. 😊

Just found out today that this is the cause of my daily discomfort. A gastroenterologist looked at my colonoscopy history, and it was NEVER DISCLOSED TO ME. How can this important information not be shared with the patient? Just today, I'm reading more and more stories like mine where the patient isn't given information that would change their life. I see healthcare specialists care less and less in mynown experiences and in others I find while looking for answers. Isnt that, you know, their job??

Same thing I'm going through, just was diagnosed with a redundant colon. After 5 colonoscophies over the last 12yrs. Now I'm acute, I do put the blame on lack of caring it's the money train for 97% of DOCTORS .

EVERYONE!!! I was diagnosed with a pineal cyst two years ago and constantly brushed off. I made an appointment with Mayo Clinic, they booked me an oncology appointment, a neurosurgery appointment and presented my case to the tumor board. Mayo clinic has taken me seriously every time I’ve been over there for my migraines and my pain. Please go see them and book an appointment with a SURGEON not a clinic doctor!!!

Thank you for this. Does a standard abdomen MRI showing Liver, Pancreas, Spleen etc show as low as the Rectum? I have seen some say only a pelvic MRI shows the rectum a, but other have said the Rectum will show in a abdomen MRI.

What about a 5 month ago knee strain? I know MRI will show mild osteoarthritis because x-rays show this. But can strain be overlooked or not show on an MRI? I'm reading conflicting information on whether strains actually show up.

What can be done about this? I've tried PT/strengthening, facet joint injections, and the nerve ablation sequence. I'm not sure what else to do at this point. Discs are okay, but facets are showing mild-medium arthritits.

I need help. I just got a menicus repair surgery and was told not to bear weight. But i accidentally did when i lost my balance and i felt a "pulled apart" sensation. Do you think it's possible to tear my menicus again or have it flipped again? My doc told me i had torn and flipped menicus ontop of it being discoid. My followup appointment is another week later and it's been 3-4days since it happened. I'm scared that it's too late. My knee feels hot and it hurts like a 3-4 out of 10. Should i seek medical attention asap or ok to wait for my appointment?

Can you have the medial head re-attached surgically 2 years later? Apparently tore my medial head… no bruising, no pain nor swelling. No loss of flexibility or balance. But when flexing my calves the medial head clearly looks like it roll up. Since then, training calves, it appears my soleus took over for my medial head as the soleus in the inner leg has grown more than my soleus on my other leg.

This is what my ortho thinks I may have, or a stress reaction/stress fracture. I will soon have a MRI.I injured my L knee 12 mos. ago and 10 mos. later injured my R knee. I think it's not fair. My L knee had a radial meniscus tear. bone contusion & Baker's Cyst & Loose Bodies. I had a partial meniscectomy 6 mos. later. But this knee feels worse. A nightmare to have it happen twice.
